Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Pawz & Cuddlez. By accessing or using our website, products, or services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.


1. Booking and Appointments

Appointments Always Recommended: While walk-ins may be accepted depending on staff availability, booking through means made available from time to time or over calls to our number is strongly encouraged for smooth experience.

Duration: Depending upon the nature of service availed and cooperation by the pet, the duration may range from 30 minutes to 150 minutes based on the size and breed. You agree to cooperate if there are any delays which are outside our control.

Cancellation: Modifications or cancellations may be done 2 hours prior to the appointment. Early communication is strongly encouraged to avoid inconvenience or conflicts with other appointments. If you arrive late to an appointment and the next client was on time, priority will be given to the client who was on-time and waiting time will be applicable. 


2. Health and Safety Protocols

Vaccinations: Your pet’s safety is our top priority. By booking appointment you acknowledge your pet is fully vaccinated and you agree to furnish the vaccination records in an unlikely event of bite or harm to our staff or groomers.

Health Status: Pets should be healthy and free from contagious illnesses. Pre-existing medical conditions or behavioral issues (e.g., anxiety, aggression) should be disclosed beforehand. Further, you will advise us of any allergies, sensitivities, or pre-existing medical conditions so we can avoid aggravating these situations.

Safety Measures: Staff use high-quality, pet-safe products and follow strict, repeated sanitization of tools and the spa area.

Aggression/Stress: If a pet becomes too stressed or aggressive, the session may be paused or stopped for the safety of the animal and staff.

If it is necessary for the safety of your pet (and the groomer/stylist, muzzles), elastic collars, slings, straps etc. will be humanely used. You must inform us if your pet bites or has ever bitten any person or other animal.


3. De-Matting, fleas & Zero Cut

3a. Allowing a pet’s coat to get matted is not only very uncomfortable but dangerous for your pet’s health. The groomer/stylist will de-mat the pet (if possible) and there is an extra charge for de-matting. Mats can be very difficult to remove and your pet may receive a “shave down” (zero cut) to remove them. Under this circumstance, a shave down is the only way to allow the skin to receive necessary oxygen and for new, healthy hair to grow. Charges for the shave down or shaving ears and tail if they are matted are determined on a per pet basis. If the client requests the mats be combed out, the groomer/stylist will not do so if it causes the pet undue stress or pain. Excessive de-matting is a painful, time-consuming and costly procedure that causes extreme discomfort and can aggravate (or cause) skin problems. 

3b. When a zero cut (shave down) is requested, I am aware that neglect of my pet’s coat can be cause for problems after grooming/shave down such as clipper/brush irritation, itchiness, failure of hair to re-grow and make my pet prone to sunburn. I am also aware that shaving may expose “pre-existing” skin conditions that are not result of a grooming.

3c. Shave downs or custom cuts that are outside normal specific breed haircuts will be discussed, and the groomer/stylist will perform the cuts to the best of his/her understanding of the client’s directions and his/ her ability but no other guarantee is made.

3d. If fleas are found on your pet, the groomer/stylist will recommend an Anti-tick bath to eradicate the fleas in order to maintain salon sanitation. This is at the groomer/stylist’s discretion and at the client’s expense. The shampoo is gentle, non-alkaline and hypoallergenic. While the treatment helps in reducing and removing ticks and fleas at the time of service, we does not guarantee complete elimination or long-term prevention of ticks or fleas, as reinfestation may occur due to environmental exposure.

4. Photography & Social Media Consent

Client (or Pet Owner) grants permission to the grooming salon to take photographs and/or videos of their pet during or after grooming for documentation, training, marketing and promotional purposes. These images or videos may be used on the salon’s social media platforms, website, advertisements,, or other promotional materials. Pawz & Cuddlez will make reasonable efforts to ensure the pet is represented respectfully. If the pet owner prefers that their pet’s images not be used, they must inform prior to the service.


5. Other Terms and Conditions

By using this website, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old, or
  • You are using the website under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information when booking a grooming appointment or placing order.

5a. I am aware that if my pet does not respond to the groomer/stylist and remain still during the grooming procedure, accidents can happen such as nicks from clippers, scissors or toenail trimmers. If you arrive early to pick up your pet or waiting in the grooming center and they are still being groomed, please do NOT talk to them or allow him/her to see you! An excited pet can be dangerous to work on. We reserve the right to end the grooming session even if the groom is not completed and the full grooming price will be charged. For the pet to properly respond to the groom, it is essential that the pet be alone with the groomer/stylist and clients will not assist in the grooming unless requested to do so.


5b. Client assumes all liabilities, financial and otherwise, for the behavior and health of their pet. Pawz & Cuddlez/the groomer will be held harmless from damages, loss or claims arising from any known or unknown pre-existing condition of the pet.


5c. We understand that some pets are extremely sensitive to certain grooming procedures such as nail trimming and/or ear cleaning. It is not our intent to cause your dog discomfort. Although these are routine procedures normally performed for the well-being of the pet, we will not continue with any grooming procedure that will cause pain, discomfort to the pet or harm to the groomer/stylist. Sometimes for a more sensitive pet, these procedures are best left to the care of a veterinarian.


5d. Every effort will be made to keep our scheduled grooms running smoothly. A typical pet groom can be completed between 1 to 2.5 hours from the time of your appointment based on the size of the breed. If your pet has behavior issues or skin and coat problems, you may be looking at a longer period of time.


5e. Limitation of Liability

Pawz & Cuddlez shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Issues arising from misuse of products
  • Non-disclosure of full information by client
  • Non-cooperation by your pets that cause any injury/damage to Stylist/property

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service.


5f. Our groomers/stylists are trained professionals. We reserve the right to alter or cease any groom in the event that our staff determines it is in your pet’s best interest or your pet displays aggressive behavior. Client understands that Pawz & Cuddlez has the right to refuse service to the client’s pet at any time for any reason.


5g. Donations & Social Impact

A portion of each purchase supports stray animals.

  • The donation percentage or amount may vary depending on campaigns or initiatives. 
  • Pawz & Cuddlez retains discretion over the allocation and distribution of funds to charitable causes.

5h. Loyalty Program

The Loyalty program (5 + 1) is exclusively for clients to promote and reward loyalty of leveraging our services. After 5th bath/grooming service availed from us, as a gesture of loyalty, we provide a free basic bath on your next visit. Further, if you complete 10 baths, your pet will be entitled to a free “Signature Bath”. Note: While availing the free bath, only the services indicated as free will be provided and any add-ons will be charged separately. Clients are requested not to lose the loyalty cards provided at the time of visit and ensure they get the acknowledgement after each service. Further, at the time of availing the service, the “physical” card has to be produced at the counter to avail the free services. We will not be responsible if the card is lost/stolen and a new card will be issued and no carryover allowed.

Pawz & Cuddlez reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time without prior notice.


6. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Telangana.


7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
